Cabin 3 sits a little further but not too far back from the shoreline as Cabin 3A. The building was renovated in the early parts of 2009 to accommodate a large Kitchen and two 4 pc Bathrooms.
It is a rustic Log Cabin with the renovation finished in White Pine V Joint lumber. The cabin is extremely clean, where inside you will find a kitchen, large living and dining area with cathedral ceiling. It features five bedrooms separated by partitioned walls, four of which each have two single beds while the other room has one double bed which sleeps 9.
Amenities included are electric stove, refrigerator/freezer, small chest freezer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, silverware, dishware, basic pots & pans, television with DVD player for DVD viewing only, bed linens, outdoor propane barbecue with picnic table and outdoor fire pit.
This cabin is heated by individual room electric baseboard heater so that you may warm the cabin up for those cooler early spring and late fall days. Three ceiling fans are installed in the peak of the Cathedral ceiling over main living/dining and bedroom area for those hot summer days. Please note that this cottage has hot and cold running water that is potable for drinking purposes and tested monthly.
The cabin is adjacent to a 200 foot long suspended bridge to cross over to the mainland. The closest building to it is Cabin 3A, approximately 500 feet away. It has its own dock able to easily fit up to 4 private or rental boats with electricity available app 50 feet away. The cabin location provides good privacy to our guests. This cabin is boat access but can be walked to via the 200 foot long suspended bridge. Approximately a 4-minute walk from the main lodge.
